Who these terms are for
These terms apply when you create an account, start a trial or use Storvilo to run a store. By doing any of these you agree to them. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that business.
Shoppers who buy from a store built on the service are customers of that store, not of ours. The store's own policies govern their purchases.
The service
Storvilo lets you build and run an online store, take orders and payments, sell in person, answer customers on Facebook and Instagram, manage stock and connect tools. The features you can use depend on your plan.
We keep improving the service. We may add, change or retire features. If we remove a feature you pay for in a way that matters, we will tell you in advance and you can stop using the service and export your data.
Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your password and any two step verification codes private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite do with the access you give them.
Tell us quickly if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Trial, plans and payment
New stores get a free trial of 14 days with the features described on the pricing page. No card is needed. When the trial ends you choose a plan or your store pauses. Your data stays saved.
Plan prices are shown on the pricing page. Each payment covers one month. We do not charge you automatically; you pay when you choose to renew, using the payment methods we offer. Prices can change, but a change never applies to a month you have already paid for.
We do not take a share of your sales. Payment providers you connect, such as bKash, SSLCommerz, Stripe or PayPal, and couriers charge their own fees under their own terms.
Fees are not refundable once a month of service has been provided, unless the law says otherwise or we have failed to provide the service.
Your store, your content and your customers
Products, photos, pages, themes and customer records you add remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only so the service can work for you and your shoppers.
You are the seller. You are responsible for what you list and sell, for your prices, taxes, delivery promises, returns and refunds, and for following the laws that apply to your store and your shoppers. You must have the right to sell what you list and to use what you upload.
You are also responsible for the personal data of your shoppers that you collect through the service. Our privacy policy explains how we process it for you.
What you may not do
You may not use the service to sell goods or services that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous, to deceive or defraud shoppers, to send spam, to harass anyone, or to infringe other people's rights.
You may not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access another store's data, scrape the service at scale, or resell the service without our written agreement.
Payments and shoppers
Shoppers pay through the providers you connect, using your own merchant details. We never store card numbers; card details are entered on the payment provider's own page. Saved wallet numbers are encrypted.
You are responsible for keeping your provider credentials correct and for resolving payment disputes, chargebacks and refunds with your shoppers and providers.
Custom code, themes and the marketplace
On plans that allow it you can add CSS, JavaScript and Liquid, and install themes from other people. Code is checked before it goes live and is kept away from checkout, sign in and account pages, but you remain responsible for code you add or install.
Themes you publish to the marketplace must be yours to share and must not contain malicious or misleading code. We may review, delist or remove themes and scripts that break these terms, and we can switch scripts off for a store.
Facebook, Instagram, couriers and other services
When you connect a service such as a Facebook Page, an Instagram account or a courier, you must have the right to do so and you must follow that service's rules. For example, Meta limits when and how a business may message people, and we follow those limits.
Third party services can change or stop working. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct, though we will work to keep your connections running.
The AI assistant
The assistant is optional and runs only if you switch it on. It answers customers from your catalogue and shop details using a prepaid balance. It can make mistakes, so review what it is allowed to do, keep its hand over rules on, and check important replies. You are responsible for what is sent to your customers from your store.
Messages and shop details the assistant needs are sent to our AI providers to produce replies, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service running and fast, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may pause it for maintenance and will try to do so at quiet times. Support is provided as described for your plan.
Your data when you leave
You can export your products, orders and customers at any time. You can stop using the service whenever you like. After you close a store we keep its data for a short period in case you change your mind and then delete it, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or security reasons.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms or the law, puts shoppers or the service at risk, or stays unpaid. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. Serious or urgent cases may be suspended at once.
Our rights
Storvilo, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own it or copy it. If you send us feedback we may use it to improve the service without owing you anything.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will meet your needs or that results such as sales will follow, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit or lost business.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to cover us against claims brought by third parties because of what you sold, uploaded or did in breach of these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page and tell account owners by email before material changes take effect. If you keep using the service after the change you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka will have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
